1. The Service

SportDex is a sports card collection management platform. The Service allows users to:

• Scan, identify, and organize sports cards
• Manage a personal card collection
• Track estimated portfolio value
• Use AI grading estimates
• Create wishlists
• Earn badges based on in-app activity
• Access SportDex PRO features
• Participate in eligible monthly PRO giveaways

SportDex does not operate a marketplace and does not allow users to buy, sell, or trade cards with each other inside the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SportDex.

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login details secure
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the Service
• Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Card Scanning

SportDex may use your device camera to scan and identify sports cards.

By using this feature, you understand that:

• Camera access is used for card scanning
• Scan results may depend on image quality, lighting, and card visibility
• Scan results are estimates and may not always be accurate
• Scanned images may be temporarily processed to provide the Service

We do not sell scanned images.

4. AI Grading

SportDex may offer AI grading features that estimate the condition or possible grade of a sports card.

AI grading results are estimates only. They are not professional grading results and are not equivalent to PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, TAG, or any other professional grading company.

You understand that:

• AI grading is for informational and entertainment purposes only
• Results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, angle, card visibility, and model limitations
• SportDex does not guarantee the accuracy of any AI grade estimate
• AI grading should not be used as the sole basis for buying, selling, insuring, or valuing a card

5. Portfolio Values and Market Data

SportDex may display estimated card values, portfolio values, price history, or market insights.

These values are estimates only. SportDex does not guarantee that a card can be bought or sold for any displayed value.

Market values may be based on third-party data, user inputs, available listings, public sales data, or internal calculations.

SportDex is not financial, investment, or trading advice.

6. SportDex PRO

SportDex may offer paid subscription features under SportDex PRO.

Subscription pricing, billing periods, trial periods, renewals, and cancellation options are shown before purchase through the relevant app store or payment provider.

You are responsible for managing or cancelling your subscription through the platform where you purchased it.

7. Badges and Rewards

SportDex may award badges, milestones, or digital achievements based on user activity.

Badges are digital status indicators only. They do not have cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, or redeemed unless explicitly stated.

We may update, add, remove, or change badge requirements at any time.

8. Monthly PRO Giveaways

SportDex may offer monthly giveaways for SportDex PRO users.

Participation in a giveaway is subject to the specific rules, eligibility criteria, prize details, and deadlines stated in the official promotion.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Giveaways are open to eligible users aged 18 or older
• Some regions may be excluded due to local laws
• Employees, contractors, affiliates, and immediate family members of Mavelli FZCO are not eligible
• Winners may be selected randomly
• Winners may be contacted by email or in-app notification
• Physical prizes may require shipping details
• Winners are responsible for taxes, customs duties, or import fees
• Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash

Where required by law, a free alternative entry method or skill-testing question may be provided.

We may cancel, modify, or suspend any giveaway if fraud, technical issues, abuse, or legal concerns arise.

9. Affiliate and Third-Party Links

SportDex may include links, integrations, or references to third-party websites, platforms, services, or offers.

Some links may be affiliate or partner links used by Mavelli FZCO.

We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, pricing, availability, or services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

10. User Content

You may upload or submit card images, collection details, wishlist items, support requests, and other information needed to use the Service.

You retain ownership of your content.

By submitting content to SportDex, you grant Mavelli FZCO a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, display, and use that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and provide the Service.

11. Intellectual Property

All SportDex branding, software, design, technology, app interfaces, logos, and related materials are owned by Mavelli FZCO or its licensors.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or extract source code
• Use SportDex branding without written permission
• Create derivative works based on the Service
• Access the Service using unauthorized automated tools

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SportDex for illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activity
• Abuse scanning, AI grading, rewards, referrals, or giveaways
• Attempt to manipulate portfolio values, badges, or giveaway entries
• Interfere with app security or functionality
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems without permission
• Upload harmful, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content

We may restrict access, remove content, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

13. Account Deletion and Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your activity creates legal, security, or reputational risk
• We are required to do so by law
• The Service is discontinued

Account deletion may take time to process. Some data may be retained where required by law, security, fraud prevention, or technical backup systems.

14. Disclaimers

SportDex is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will always be available
• Scan results will always be accurate
• AI grading estimates will match professional grading results
• Portfolio values will reflect actual resale prices
• Third-party data will always be complete or current

Use SportDex at your own discretion.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mavelli FZCO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SportDex.

This includes losses related to card values, collection decisions, AI grading estimates, scan errors, account access, data issues, or third-party services.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mavelli FZCO, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of SportDex
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your uploaded content
• Your participation in giveaways
• Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If material changes are made, we may notify users by email, in-app notification, or website update.

Continued use of SportDex after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
